I'm a legitimate oatmeal cookie monster... I just counted, as well as January 2018, I have shared 47 oatmeal cookie recipes with you. Eep! Have you ever tried any of these yet? (? You can locate all of my oatmeal cookie recipes right there!) They are some of the most well-known recipes in my website because they taste very sweet and cozy, exactly like traditional"indulgent" oatmeal cookie recipes, but they contain no refined sugar or bread!
So you'll begin with whole wheat bread (or fermented, if you want ) and prompt oats (like those... or these for a gluten free version!) . Immediate oats are smaller and thinner than traditional rolled oats, also you can find them at canisters right next to those old-fashioned oats at the grocery shop.
I probably seem like a broken record by now... But because I ? you and also need your cookies to turn out absolutely soft and chewy, I am reminding you ... Quantify your flour and oats properly, using this method or even a kitchen scale! (? That is the one I own and enjoy. It only cost $20!) Too much of either side will make your cookies taste cakey or dry, as opposed to chewy. This is especially true of the oats--that they behave like little sponges and soak up lots of moisture out of your cookie dough!
Ripe bananas- perfect for baking! Love all @amybakeshealthy's yummy & healthier banana recipes!
Watch these bananas? And all of those brown stains? If it comes to baking with bananas, brown = amazing! I ? extra speckly bananas because they have a lot glowing, bold flavor--along with additional natural sweetness! That's the minimum number of brown that I recommend. More is even better!
The remainder of the cookie dough's sweetness comes from another organic ingredient... Pure maple syrup (such as that!) . You desire the type that comes straight from maple trees, which is generally offered in thin glass jars or squat, round plastic jugs. Forget the pancake sugar and sugar-free syrup!

The peppers include much more sweetness! The freshly bought, extra plump, perfectly soft ones are ideal... But for those who have elderly, slightly dried out carbohydrates (hmm... it seems absurd to describe dried fruit as dried out! ) , that's okay!
Only add them to a microwave-safe bowland pour water on top till they're totally coated. Seal plastic wrap across the surface, and microwave the bowl on high for 1 minute. Should you allow the peppers sit while mixing together the cookie dough, then this little hint hydrates them so they're tremendously juicy--and that makes a large difference in these cookies once they're baked!

Yields: 15 biscuits
The familiar comfy spices and plump raisins make them even more irresistible. They will keep for at least one week if kept in an airtight container in the fridge --if they last long!
1 cup (100g) instant oats (fermented if required and quantified like this)
3/4 cup (90g) whole wheat or fermented * flour (quantified like this)
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup (63g) mashed banana
1 great post to read tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup (120mL) pure maple syrup
1/4 cup (40g) raisins
In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, pasta, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in the maple syrup. Add in the flour mixture, stirring only until incorporated.
With a spoon and spatula, drop the cookie dough to 15 rounded scoops on the sheet, and apply to the desired depth and width by means Banana Oatmeal Breakfast Cookies (One Bowl) - Jessica In The Kitchen of a spatula. Bake in 325°F for 10-12 minutes.
Notes: It's extremely important to quantify both the oats and flour properly using this technique or a kitchen scale. (? That's the one I have and adore!) Too much of either will dry out of the biscuits and abandon them cakey rather than chewy.
Instant oats are also referred to as quick-cooking or minute oats. They arrive in huge canisters, just like conservative oats. They are not the ones at the small flavored packets of oatmeal. To create your own, include the same quantity of traditional oats to a food processor, and pulse 10-12 days or until the oats are about 1/4 into ? of the original size.
For the fermented flour, I suggest the following blend: 1/2 cup (60g) millet flour, 2 tbsp (15g) tapioca flour, two tablespoons (15g) brown rice , as well as 1/2 tsp xanthan gum. Most store-bought gluten-free flour blends (like that one!) Will also work, if quantified like this.
For your best results, use the ripest and spottiest bananas you can find!
If your raisins are mature, dryer, and not very plump or succulent... Add them into a microwave-safe bowland put water on top until they're fully coated. Seal plastic wrap across the top, and microwave the bowl on high for 1 minute. If you allow the peppers sit while mixing together the cookie dough, this small hint hydrates them they're really soft and juicy!
